Malayalam Filmibeat reported the legal action being taken over what it described as defamatory remarks, and Metro Vaartha reported the demand that allegedly defamatory notes be withdrawn.

We are going to be unfashionably restrained here. A defamation filing is a procedural fact and everything underneath it is contested, which means the responsible thing is to tell you what happened and stop. What we will say is that a dispute going to court instead of playing out as duelling social media posts is, structurally, an improvement. Malayalam cinema has spent years doing its arguing in public and it has produced real reform alongside real damage. A courtroom is slower, less satisfying, and has the significant advantage of eventually producing an answer.
